Care & maintenance
- Wipe wood and powder-coated steel with a clean cloth moistened with water or a solution of water and neutral detergent. Remove soap residue immediately with a clean, dry cloth.
- Avoid using abrasive cream or scrub pads as they can scratch the surface.
- If the surface is scratched or appears dull, use a care product specifically designed for the respective material.
- Avoid placing the furniture in direct sunlight or near a strong heat source to reduce changes. Wood is a natural material and will change in color and patinate over time.
- Regularly dust the furniture to maintain its appearance and cleanliness.
- This information is a general guideline. Please contact our customer service or one of our stores for specific maintenance instructions.
Designed by Japanese Jin Kuramoto, the Knit Coatrack in Toffee is a simple and iconic coat rack with a distinctive sculptural design. Comprising three powder lacquered steel pipes that are interconnected in a three-dimensional way, the pipes are securely "knitted" together to support each other and create the strength of the body. The coat rack consists of three powder-coated steel tubes connected in a three-dimensional way. The tubes are firmly "knitted" together to support each other and create the strength of the body. Inspired by the tactile experience of touching materials and the experimental processes of bending and knitting ropes and metal rods, Knit was developed as an extension of HAY's wardrobe and clothing hanging options in a flat packaged design that is easy to assemble. Knit has a high gloss finish that creates a shiny effect and can be used to add functionality and visual appeal to hallways, bedrooms and other private or public areas.
