Nathalie du Pasquier
Nathalie du Pasquier is a designer from Milan. After previously focusing mainly on furniture, clothing and jewelry, she now focuses on painting. She describes the connection between her earlier and later work as: ‘a chain of thoughts that follow each other. It would be impossible not to connect the two, even if at a certain point I decided to become a painter.' Her work is characterized by the use of bold shapes and colors and the use of pencil and paper instead of modern graphic design techniques.
In collaboration with The Wrong Shop, du Pasquier made the posters Caldo and Freddo, which are for sale at HAY.nl.
