Joel Hoff
Joel Hoff was trained as an interior decorator before he started studying Industrial Design at the Muthesius Kunsthochschule in Kiel, Germany, and the Royal College of Art in London, where he graduated with a Master of Arts in Design Products. He is now based in Munich with with his own design study and also teaches at the Academy of Fine Arts. Joel tries to inspire people to own products that remain in use for a long time, so he aims to design objects for mass-production, that do not fuel mass-consumption. Therefore, his designs are practical and timeless. For HAY, Joel designed the beautiful Turn On light.
